The programme for the St Albans Festival is now out.
Of course, the organ competitions are at the core of this festival. In spite of the prize money not being particularly high by international standards, young organists from all over the world are keen to compete here: a prize here carries a lot of kudos.
On the concert/recital side, highlights include:
