Ditto, salymap. After he has erased his funny comments I have replaced one with one of my own. He appears to be much better.

Curalach I phoned yesterday but never speak to him as there is no portable phone available when I ring. The nurse just asked again about Troovi on his behalf.I too download pix now and then and the site is safe I'm sure I shall get into trouble for starting this thread, he doesn't like a fuss.

No you won't. I should think he will be secretly delighted that people think of him when he is unwell.

I agree Curalach and would like to add my thoughts & best wishes for Hornspieler's speedy and complete recovery, and more importantly, his membership of these boards.

There are young whippersnappers getting away with murder all over the place here, and we need Hornspieler's ability to, as my mother's best friend used to say, 'put his foot down with a firm hand!'

All in affectionate jest - get well soon Hornspieler!

Isn't it annoying. I've always wondered how people can make a mistake in the naming of their thread.
Now I keep seeing MESAGE on this

I understand how you feel, salymap. I announced the forthcoming BAL, giving the wrong date, and there's nothing anyone can do to change it.

Well, while you are waving your wand, could you change Bryn's "Patoral" on the H & N section as well? (Unless it's a word I don't know and actually correct, of course - in which case sorry!)

I noticed it but have a sort of rule that if the person responsible isn't bothered, I let it stand (I don't like to be officious ). As saly and Alps both raised the issue I made the changes - though Alps, as a host of BaL, can do it himself, as he will know by now.
