erm, not that keen on Adel Farooq, moving on...
AK goes straight to the heart of the matter with the interview with Rashid.
There's a pic of Le Group Bali on the site

John, I don't know. I really don't want to go to Dubai. It sounds like a gigantic Bluewater but with desert skiing. My idea of hell on earth.
Once in the old hitching days I ended up a day and a half in Las Vegas - Andy in Dubai is having me recollect those days when I felt a total stranger in a strange land. I didn't approve either.
It was just I thought I heard a guy in Le Group Bali - but maybe that's what the Humi does.
.....sorry, but this is very ordinary hip-hop soundwise. Had a look before the programme at the country's music. It was all about foreign workers. Rock, metal, ska and schouscene which I can only imagine is like a poor version of My Bloody Valentine. No rain there generally but if anything much gloomier. All glitz. No soul.
Desert Heat on Youtube? Of course...
another good show maybe even great, a wide variety, some duff stuff, once again about an hour too short...
So what is it guys - South Algeria, Gobi or Dubai? - I know which one it isn't!
South Algeria for me, most like Morocco, a place I must revisit whilst I still can.
