    Default Mary Ann 18 Feb

It felt like ages since I'd heard her - sounding like she had a fine time Celtic Connectioning - the guests were not bad, though not brilliant, I thought - I thought the first set the better - she played a great Louvin Brothers Cover (Whitstein Brothers) in memory of Charlie; a brilliant Ladysmith - she's right, I might have got too used to them and stopped listening, but that was a cracker; and a real beauty, I thought, Lubara Wanwa by Aurelio - http://open.spotify.com/track/5mz6XqguApcybFdhuJZzVs - a fantastic voice from one of the Balkan states with Youssou N’Dour in there too. Haven't quite got to the end of the show yet. Will get there eventually.

John - I haven't heard it yet but it sounds great. (I've got some catching up to do on programmes generally) - Lat.

:doh:Don't know what made me say that - the record's from Central America (Honduras I think) - I suppose I could have mis-heard Mary Ann, or maybe I'm just coming down with something.

no, that was last week when you were doing that. Now you're getting better. Every day in every way.

Thanks Global - so just a straight mistake then! Thanks for the thoughts - Coue ties in with Kurt's Uncle really, don't you think? "I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, 'If this isn't nice, I don't know what is.'"

    Those excellent Whitsteins

Charles toured with Charlie taking Ira's part.
Fantastic singer, not so good a foreign traveler

    NB
The Whitsteins seen performing a song written by a recent Late Junction recording star.
Well I'll be a hum dum dinger !
