Curious that they still have last year's on sale - I suppose there might be some who want a record of the season's concerts, & didn't buy the book last year. I regularly browse Waterstones' sale shelves, & am surprised at the out-of date annual guides etc they have - the 'Yellow Book' of gardens open to the public, for example.
