    Default Help!

Whenever I hit two keys simultaneously a blue square appears in the top left of my screen which has headings for 'Restore', 'Maximise', 'Minimise' and 'Close'. Nothing happems when I click on any of them and it is impossible to either carry on working or to get rid of this irritating square. It seems to happen whatever I am in at the time.

Does anyone know how to get rid of it without turning off my computer and rebooting?

I am on Windows Vista (yes, I know) and IE8.

Everyone I know swears by Firefox. My computer whizz installled it for me 2 years ago, and, apart from the fact that I am unable to download youtube clips free, the way I can with Internet Explorer, (where a little pop-up pops up over the top of the clip which one clicks on), it has given me no problems, and the visual definition is better.

Firefox 5 came out - not compatible with Google toolbar. Much grumbling while we waited for the update. Firefox 6 - still not compatible with Google toolbar and pretty strong hint that this was intentional. Moved over briefly to Chrome but <sigh>, back to Firefox again
