Der Rosenkavalier op.59: highlights
Zapf:
Approximation (for String Quartet; 1996)
Arpeccio (for Harp and Tape; 1989)
Psalmos (for Flute and Harp; 1988)
Dreiklang (for large orchestra; 1991/’92)
Pröve:

Earlier on Breakfast, part of Haydn's lovely Symphony no 98. I always get it mixed up with no 90, which has the false endings. No 98 stops and starts in rather the same way. I have both on CDs and may play them COMPLETE later, They are both ESSENTIAL to me, to use the 'in' word.
Focus, Focus II (aka Moving Waves). EMI, 1971.
Know your rights - all three of 'em
Was that from the Proms many years ago? I think I was at that one. Brilliant.
PS: Probably wasn't that performance - the dates on the CD don't seem to match and one of the pieces at least was recorded in the Usher Hall Edinburgh. The year (1971) if that's for the Tchaikovsky 4, seems possible though.
