    Default Come fly with me

Very nostalgic documentary on the history of Pan Am now showing on iPlayer. As my dad was in the airline business in the 1960s I became hooked on civil aviation; this programme really does paint a good picture of flying when it was still fun. The associated sit come now on the Beeb is dire though.

What a letdown - I was expecting Frank Sinatra!

Very much agree about the documentary, Mahlerei - I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not seen the sit-com but it sounds eminently missable...

Ah - well the balance of opinion seems to be saving the trouble of watching this... But do give the documentary a try if you've got an hour to spare.
