Thanks a lot for that Calum - I'm still not quite getting the new R4 schedules. Here's one of my favourite Crumbs.

...and one of my favourite Minnies.

          Memphis Minnie was great.

This is my favourite MM track and the images of the vintage cars in this clip are terrific.

Great music! Good to see traditional Delta Blues getting some credit on radio.

Minnie smashing a whiskey glass into her husband Joe's face...belting him around the head on stage with a National steel...call the Daily Mail.

DAMN, she should have married Miles! (other thread).
              JAZBOs, ASBOs all round.

WONDERFUL music..and Lammar is a good (aware) presenter for items like this. NOT a passing celeb.

              BN.

Interesting how the late Jo Ann Kelly got so close?

There's a forgotten name - well almost, in my case.

Can't recall who originally posted this back a year or so ago in the land of the Worldies - maybe Paul but perhaps someone else. I loved this article by Langston Hughes - would have loved to have been there.

I discovered this yesterday and have been absolutely bowled over by the performance which reminds me very much of Bobby McFerrin albeit this was recorded in 1929. Absolutely amazing!!
