Thread: Ear worms

  1. #1

    Default Ear worms

Prompted by an article on the BBC magazine about "Ear worms" (catchy tunes that, once in your head, are difficult to get rid of.) Here's the one that is serious doing my head in.

    Probably ruined your Thursday!

(But the film is very good even if the "Cat bus" is a bit strange.)

    er ditto

"Society is indeed a contract. It is a partnership in all science; a partnership in all art; a partnership in every virtue, and in all perfection. As the ends of such a partnership cannot be obtained in many generations, it becomes a partnership not only between those who are living, but between those who are living, those who are dead, and those who are to be born.”

"Swingin' with Totoro..." (Although I think music comes from "kiki's Delivery Service" ~ Not seen this one yet but have been very impressed by these films of what I've seen to date.)

(Extract from Ghibli jazz Vol 2) ~ and you thought all Japanese were just into Blue Note records

Jarvis played this at the start of his Sunday show this week and I can't get it out of my ear - it's that 'Vision on' link that does it.

Thanks for the Neighbour Totoro tune; one of my all time favourites films - that Cat Bus is a gas!
