One thing for sure; there won't ever be another one like him. In the early seventies I thought I'd bought a 2nd hand Phil Harris LP in a jumble sale, but the record on the inside was Flatt and Scruggs (on the Hallmark Label I seem to remember) - still counts as the very best accidental buy I ever made. Sorry to hear this news. Great music. A fairly frequent choice on Spotify lists even in the current times.
Funnily enough, that Beverly Hillbillies tune might be one of the first songs I ever heard.
