I have a similar experience, EA

But then I do have a full beard which I just strim & shape a bit for the convenience of those inclined to seek a snog in greeting

Re. my earlier post, I find that those Gillette Fusion blades last remarkably well- getting on for 6 weeks before they need changing. But 4 a year? That's even better! Perhaps I'm changing blades too quickly!
If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough..

I have no wish to wander into male territory, but why not, instead of scraping at your faces every day, grow a tidy beard, not a birds nest thingy with bits of toast and marmite in it, but a neat job, which is not in the least prickly, or a goatee. Think of the time and money you would save! Then you could have more malt whisky!

If only it was that easy! Growing a beard is not difficult, but keeping it in trim is! It's much easier to shave now and again, some men even shave every day, but I think that's a bit excessive.

Could be useful as reserves! Allegedly men who shave live longer - or at least may not suffer strokes so readily - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/2729457.stm Maybe only Welsh men though!

They don't last long as I am very dark haired. I choose Wilkinson on ethical grounds. One of the other big companies has often had terrible press on the testing of its products on animals.

"Society is indeed a contract. It is a partnership in all science; a partnership in all art; a partnership in every virtue, and in all perfection. As the ends of such a partnership cannot be obtained in many generations, it becomes a partnership not only between those who are living, but between those who are living, those who are dead, and those who are to be born.”
