I can't work out how Larry is more or less coordinated with the video, but the pianist not at all, Chas. Do you suppose they're miming to the CD? That (as far as I know) would be a jazz first.

Ah well - I keep remembering to get this album.

Meanwhile, another project of last year I missed, by another not often mention on our bored:

    gREETingS

    serialist:

I stumbled across Stabbins via the St. Cyprians quartet stuff...Stabbins, Howard Riley, Tony Wren bass, Mark Sanders, drums (he being a real force!)

Although Larry was on an Eddie Prevost (Continuum) that I had forgotten.

If you audit the Stonephace MySpace site, they stream most of the CD of that name...this (Africa) being the most hard-core offering.

Chas - thanks for this; I'll have to listen to it shortly as right now I have Grant Green on (Grantstand with Yusef Lateef).

I only know Larry Stabbins' work from Working Week (whom I saw play live in 1985).
Stands the church clock at ten to three? And is there jass still on Radio£3?
