Default it was us wot dunnit honest guv

The Government is to call for an end to what it describes as an "it's not my fault" culture of excuses, which has allowed 120,000 "troubled families" to avoid taking responsibility for their own lives.
this is most welcome i eagerly anticipate the full implementation of this new honesty across the entire government and especially by mr osborne .... someone who is entirely fluent with the favours for chums protocols ...

As the ends of such a partnership cannot be obtained in many generations, it becomes a partnership not only between those who are living, but between those who are living, those who are dead, and those who are to be born.”

"The policy will be overseen by the Government's Troubled Families Team, led by Louise Casey, the former New Labour adviser who Mr Pickles said understood "that you have got to roll up your sleeves and get the broom cracking on a lot of folks"."

Ought she not to be sent back to sort out the steady rise in street homelessness that she was supposed to have sorted out in Blair's first term? Her record of non-achievement in several areas of social policy is almost unparalleled
