Eggy theme today - so she played a previously unplayed recording from the Beeb of the Jimi HENdrix EGGperience doing Catfish Blues - pretty great I have to say. She also played an eggcellent John Lee with Groundhogs track.Op from the Met Office ? Well why not ... same difference to me

Still can't find any news about the R3 stage line-up. Here is the rest of the festival, some of which will also be broadcast - http://womad.co.uk/lineup/.
I doubt that I will attend although I would have loved to have seen Omara Portuondo. Has anyone heard her at all recently? It would be nice to think that she could still sing well - but she is 81!
