    Default Radio 3 stage

Only one announcement for R3 so far - Nazakat Teymurova from Azerbaijan - but there's an announcement on Friday it would appear.

Can you spot this John? I see the notice about an intended announcement yesterday but can't find the announcement itself.

I looked too, but nothing there yet, Lat - some folk on a womad blog were getting irked about it yesterday, I noticed.

They're probably waiting to see what the weather will be like. The young Colombian chap will be doing a set though, I'm sure.
So confirmed on the R3 stage so far : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MD_EPO4EQ8E

The R3 chaps are probably just waiting to squeeze it out for a spot of Op from the Met, Paul.

Eggy theme today - so she played a previously unplayed recording from the Beeb of the Jimi HENdrix EGGperience doing Catfish Blues - pretty great I have to say. She also played an eggcellent John Lee with Groundhogs track.

Still can't find any news about the R3 stage line-up. Here is the rest of the festival, some of which will also be broadcast - http://womad.co.uk/lineup/.

I doubt that I will attend although I would have loved to have seen Omara Portuondo. Has anyone heard her at all recently? It would be nice to think that she could still sing well - but she is 81!
