iphone/android app for proms guide

Last year I had a brilliantly conceived and implemented proms guide on an iPod/ It doesn't seem to have been updated this year.

Is there anything else around?

Did the BBC kill it to promote sales of the printed version????

Hello, filbert - and welcome!

I seem to remember there was a way of printing off the individual programme notes last year but it was quite complicated so I suppose fear of loss of sales might well be the answer to both issues.

It seems a shame, it was so easy to find the programmes that interested me and a simple click would add them to my diary, so i was less likely to forget they were on. Making it harder isn't going to increase audiences

I found it useful too. I think it's more likely that the guy behind it has lost interest. I tried asking him via Twitter and got no response
