    Default Query: accessing the forum

Has anyone been finding the forum very slow lately? (The software, I mean, not the contributions ...)

I've had one enquiry about this but I certainly have had no problems. We were moved on to a much bigger server several months back because our hosts thought there might be a future danger of overload from the amount of traffic we get (), but it went very smoothly and I know of no problems being reported since.

Morning ff, my computer and the forum are VERY slow but I'm not experienced enough on line to know what the trouble is.

Windows is perpetually 'not responding' but I don't think I can blame the forum for that

Otherwise, I mostly use Emails and they seem quicker than the forum.

I certainly hope we are not in any way to blame for that, saly

The problem would be if you had no difficulty in loading pages on other sites and the forum was always markedly slower.

    Normal service here, I'd say.

    all very fine here too
"Society is indeed a contract. It is a partnership in all science; a partnership in all art; a partnership in every virtue, and in all perfection. As the ends of such a partnership cannot be obtained in many generations, it becomes a partnership not only between those who are living, but between those who are living, those who are dead, and those who are to be born.”

    No problem.
Microsoft have just done a shed load of 'updates'. Could that have affected some PC mixes?

I think in this case it was a local connection problem which appeared to have been fixed, the forum site excepted.

Looks like it's, 'Not us, guv.'

Yes, my screen froze three times today and, as always, I thought I had done something wrong. No, it was pesky updates, more updates, then configurations. This never improves anything, as far as I can see and the MBs go haywire
