I'd like to know why there are no complete symphony cycles by Alwyn,Rubbra,Arnold,Rawsthorne,Parry,Stanford etc etc etc

I'd be quite happy to have A symphony by any of the above scheduled. Plus Bantock's "Sappho"

The orchestral flowering at 1.15 is magical and the tutti at 3.53 fair knocks you out of your seat. Tod Handley brought this marvellous piece back into the catalogue and yet...ne'er a single play on R3. But if you want the umpteenth "Alborada" or "Scheheradze"...
