BBC sell off!

A rather surprising (to me, at any rate) collection of kit from the BBC is being sold at this auction site - http://www.ppauctions.com/sales.php It includes tables, chairs, but also quite a lot of audio equipment. I'm surprised at how many seemingly duplicate sets of kit they had.

Not sure if any of this of more general interest. Allegedly some of the stuff hasn't been used.

Look for the World Service auctions. You may need to head off to page 4 or more in order to get past the tables and office cabinets.

For anyone thinking of bidding, a quick heads up that you need to factor in 15.5% buyer's premium and then add VAT. All items have to be collected by Aug 10th. Great if you live in London, I guess.
