I was listening while on the M5, a jolly diversion and then the M6. I was half expecting one of the sequences
to end with this for contrast ( or something similar )

But got home and was unloading during the the last thirty minutes so didn't actually find out ...

    on the website message reads
Sorry, this programme is not available to listen again
Don't tell them, but I just have.

Hello Late Junction team, I'd like to introduce you to the iPlayer team...perhaps at some point you'll tell me in writing what I've been listening too.

That Hannah Hukkelberg album, Featherbrain, is on Spotify.
I shall be giving it a listen as I'm partial to her shambolic tunefulness. That track Max played had whistling - nearly as good as yodelling....

I was also glad to hear the Nightingales & Bombers again....

Hold on there a minute - did we just get ONE week of Max - am I missing something? I mean apart from Max!

Yes, JC, you are right. As you can see in this pic, FT has elbowed Max out of the way, taking front of pic with a satisfied grin; Max being a gent merely looks on a little surprised and contemplates retiring to his cobwebbed garret to listen to more contrapuntal medieval acid re-mixes of Arsenal football chants of the '60's and other sonic revelations.

I'd write and ask someone if I thought there was the slightest chance of a response. There isn't. But what is going on? Any BBC staffer's out there who want to respond in an anon sort of way? You can even PM me. Obviously I'll then share it with other interested parties....

In fact as a protest I am Listening Again to Max's Thursday show over and over again - that'll teach them.

Global - You missed the official reason given for reallocating Max's second week. It was in the title of the reccerd broadcast on the 75th minute.

Reccerd - Ostensibly American, now sometimes used in Britain. A variation of the word "record". First known reference - Robert Brinley Joseph Harris, OBE, BBC Radio 1, 1970, subsequently Radio 210, Reading, and then rotational on stations across the United Kingdom until bumped into the middle of the night nationally for being too good.

Great to hear Max back last night - fine opening to the month of May from him. Great to hear that Fonseca/Fatimara/Kouyate track Bibisa and a nice bit of Levon - and that great bit of Moroccan roll. Most intrigued by the title of Eric Chenaux' track 'Genitalia Domestique' - I ain't no francophone so I wondered if it was genitalia specifically kept for the house.....or alternatively, if it was one of those cyclists in the Tour de France whose responsibility is to carry spare tackle for the team leader in case he needs a bit more B***s!

Hearing Max on live tonight spurred me on to listen to the whole show - if he's up making it, I'm up to staying up. Great stuff, fluffed lines and all! Music was grand too!
