    Thanks both... No, not upset, I think he was pretty unaware of things - would have gone for aunt-support but she is with friends and then will sleep I think having been up most of the night. It's one of those "merciful release" situations, I think.

    I do enjoy a race on a Bank Holiday Monday. Will Calibs or Mercs get to the line first? What was the house called????

    There's a good Y going there - GCM lived in Yester House in East Lothian, I've been there (my mate owns the next-door castle )
