I had not heard of it either - it was the first that came up on a Google search for "rewrite article"

Perhaps something analagous to extreme ironing!

        Or even extreme irony:irony3:]

George Monbiot’s powerful article on the real motives of Trump & Musk:

He is surrounded by people who have plans and dreams beyond our planet. Vengeful nihilism is a big part of the Maga project, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

With only four years at the most, it's no wonder that they are getting a move on.

I've been investigating what people have been saying about climate change denial as a crime against humanity. It seems I wasn't the first person to think it ....
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

In 2019, the UK committed in law to reducing its carbon emissions to net zero by 2050. Now the political climate has changed.

Those who live (and profit) by the capitalist system will not, unlike their ancestors in swordsmanship, be the first to die by the capitalist system, having enlisted huge swathes of general populations into going along with leading by ballot box example and dragging the rest of us all down with them, along with our natural living support systems. There are, or rather could be, alternatives, but they never get discussed or coverage on the mainstream media. I wonder what David Attenborough must now be thinking about all this.

Well, even the Greens discover that once you start winning elections you have to stop specialising, and help Mr Hoskings get care for his sick wife, advise Mrs Osmotherly on where her SEN son can be educated, find the money to keep all the local libraries open &c. With a bit of luck our latest election winners will find the irrelevant trivia of public service taking up all their time

Too troo. And personal inexperience in offices of the councillor type won't act in their favour either.
