      It would be interesting to know how your three listens (?) compare as an aural experience . I’m pretty sure you’ll hear more Orchestral detail in the recording that’s for sure but the surroundings are such a huge part of the whole experience it’s almost impossible to compare the two in their totality. One reason I prefer live though I tend to avoid entirely orchestral works performed in a large very reverberant space like a cathedral.
