... but the 'real time' column for Pitlochry has 'pass / dep 0931' (as opposed to arr 0927 dep 0929 in the other columns)Originally posted by AuntDaisy View Post. However, if you look on the "detailed version" view, it did!

The two screen shots I have show (simple version) 'Not stopping' at Pitlochry, and simply 'pass 0931' in the column which would normally have arrival and departure from the station. The two earlier columns show the original stopping details, and the estimated ones. But no stop or departure is registered. I've tried to add links to online uploads of these, but they don't work properly for some reason.

Do these images help, Master Jacques?Originally posted by Master Jacques View PostNot quite - I was trying to upload permanent screenshots, rather than give the URLs, which might well disappear overnight (I hope not though!)

From the York Press:
A PERSON has been hit by a train north of York.
All train lines between York and Darlington - including the East Coast Mainline - have reopened after a person was hit by a train earlier this afternoon.
The incident was reported at 11.55pm today (September 27) with lines between York and Darlington – including Northallerton and Thirsk stations - impacted.
“To allow the emergency services to safely access the railway and carry out their work, all lines running between these stations are closed,” said a spokesperson for National Rail at time.
They have now finished their work, but whilst service recovers, trains may still be delayed by up to 50 minutes, revised or cancelled.

I think it is wrong to close a whole line because one person has been hit by a train. If the track is useable and the signals operating I believe keeping the trains running should be top priority. No line is too busy to allow workers access to the track , with a proper lookout and saftey procedures. I think Network Rail don't care enough about their main function and are too willing to play safe . I've had it out with them and their respose convinced me that they care more about avoiding blame.
