    I only bought the first two of that Cleveland set and found them disappointing especially K271 . Tate was a very fine Mozartian and it tells.

      Yes, I still return to his box set of 51 Mozart symphonies made mostly at Abbey Road in the 1980s. Quite as good as the Karl Bohm, I think .

        Not actually a charity shop trawl, but Ipswich Central Library is selling off books and CDs, and for £1 I acquired a 3-CD set of Mozart Sting Quintets (Amadeus Quartet/Aronowitz) and Il Pianoforte -Ravel played by Cécile Ousset.
