I used to have an LP of Vivaldi violin concertos played by Baron Menuhin of Stoke d’Abernon with the Polish Chamber Orchestra conducted by Jerzy Maksymiuk. I used to love that album and played it over and over again. It was on the budget label EMI, CFP.
I’m sure I have that on cd and it was an excellent example of late Menuhin at his best. CfP was my ‘go to’ label as in impecunious school boy. I re purchased a lot of their discs when they were released on cd.

    Happy Days.

Yes, I like Menuhin's Vivaldi recordings. They reappeared on a 'Gemini' 2-CD set, well-worth looking for.

Relaxing on a warm spring afternoon with a cup of Empress Grey, Mozart's Divertimento in E flat, K113, played by the Academy of S. Martin-in-the-Fields. Ah,those cool clarinets, maybe Mozart's first use of the instrument.
