Well I didn't care for the reeds on the organ, but for the rest I thought it was a terrific broadcast!

BUT...........Maybe plus the very slight, odd intonation wobble?

A terrific Evensong with excellent engineering to go with it. Energy and attack to the fore in the Canticles and anthem. The Grieg Introit was a prayer that was really the only truly subtle piece in the service. The organ sounds quite a wildly colourful instrument but was just the thing to inspire the choir to go for it. I got the impression from the top line in the choir that they gave their all and more in the climaxes of the Jackson and Willen and wow, how thrilling they were. I only detected one slightly flat phrase in the anthem, but no doubt really getting tired by that time. Superb singing.
