          Wish I'd taken a picture of this notice on a Somerset church notice board:-

          Young Mothers' Group meets for coffee Thursdays at 10 am..........all those wishing to become Young Mothers see the Vicar.

              Our local branch of the Halifax is closing soon, and a helpful notice in the window tells us that the nearest branch will be 12 miles away. A larger notice next to the closure announcement praises the bank's mortgage services, and is headed - in VERY large letters- 'GOOD MOVE' .

                  Whoever thought that instruction up deserves the chop! It always says "Do not soak" on wooden chopping boards for sale. How the hell else is one supposed to clean then without giving 'em a good soak and scrub - or is just a wipe intended to fortify our auto-immune systems?
