    Internet timeouts

Has anyone (besides me) been getting the message 'Connection timed out' when trying to access the FoR3 website/forum recently? I've had the same message coming on two different laptops and a phone although all other websites were unaffected.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Occasional difficulty with the site not loading but no timeouts as such.
I do get Error messages (perhaps should post a technical query or anomaly) nearly always the first time I try to Edit to resurrect after having temporarily deleted a thread prepared in advance. Always OK on second attempt.

Yes (see my December post) and it was happening yesterday.
Switching to a VPN seems to clear it.

I think those error messages are just software glitches. I've had several evenings when forum pages didn't load and then I got the timeout message, essentially saying there was no internet connection. But I could still access other websites so the problem couldn't be with my router or general internet connection.

Occasional problems connecting that I put down to BT's delivery system. Mostly the site works fine for me.

I encounter that on occasion. Sometimes it resolves fairly quickly, other times not, but doesn't continue into the following day's viewing so doesn't matter too much.

Indeed, everything is back to normal again this morning/afternoon.
