    AA rechargeable lithium batteries 1.5V

Has anyone tried these yet? There seem to be two firms which make/supply them right now. One is called JUGEE. I'm not even sure how the batteries (any pedants around ...) work, as some lithium ones in an (almost) AA physical format actually put out over 3V. The other firm currently selling is Kentli - see https://metaefficient.com/rechargeab...ies-exist.html

Whether it's worth trying any of these I'm not sure, but my Canon camera SX1 IS - which until fairly recently I have "loved" - seems to fail quite frequently if rechargeable batteries are getting run down. Probably my fault, for trying to do too much. Maybe I just need to have backup sets of fully charged batteries - without trying to get the lithium type, but I do wonder if batteries with slightly better power characteristics would keep my camera going** for longer.

** I don't mean per session - I mean before I get so fed up with it I take it to the charity shop.
