          The conduct of posters on this board - basically very civilised - is wholly atypical in my experience of the behaviour online of the wider populace, which frankly does not leave one wildly optimistic about the fate of the human race. More has not meant better, to paraphrase Larkin or Amis, I forget (and cba to google ) which. I can only imagine what it's like to be a sensitive artistic teenager trying to find a way through.
