    Exaudi at the Wigmore

In their recent recital (Chromatic Renaissance) three contemporary vocal works were included:

Elisabet Dijkstra: here, now (world premiere)
    Sylvia Lim: paper wings
    Christopher Fox: senso commune

It takes some pluck, not to say phenomenal musicianship, to sing them....live.

Celebrated vocal group EXAUDI perform expressive music from the 16th and 17th centuries.

You can also watch them on the Wigmore Hall YouTube channel - some interesting vocal techniques for "paper wings" ~23:30 mins in.
Very heartening to see such a large audience.

I misread this as Einaudi at the Wigmore.

It's strange that there are at least two British composers seem to like to write music based on renaissance madrigals -- first Michael Finnissy and now Christopher Fox. I enjoyed the Fox on this recording, also it was interesting to read the text by Gramsci.
