    NCO Mozart Requiem

    We heard it first in R3 Mozartfest on CE, but the CD is available now on the Novum label.

    Lovely clarity of choral and orchestral line, boys on top and second line solos gives those movements a dynamic, crystalline timbre. Particularly excellent tenor soloist, but the whole thing is well recorded, nothing operatic.

    Worth investigating.

      Yes indeed, that is the one, but I think Amazon is doing it cheaper - well, it was as an advance sale over the weekend.

        Maybe i did not make it clear, so should have added that all the solo parts are taken from within the choir i.e. boys on sop / alto solos.
