No it's not - they rehearse more than are needed and a selection sing at each performance (if I can find an old programme I'll tell you how many).

The current programme says 30 singers are rehearsed, 18 of whom perform at each concert.

Sorry bbm, TDA was repealed in 2008. Its replacement, the "Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regs", hasn't quite replaced it in public consciousness somehow
