I saw this in Nottingham last night - advertised as a 'staged concert performance', it was actually more like a proper production, with costumes and a (rudimentary) set.
Alice Coote was quite superb in the demanding central role - it comes close to being a solo show at times - and though Orfeo is required to express themselves in terms of generalised grief for most of the First Act, Coote's acting was high definition.
Excellent support from Fflur Wyn and Daisy Brown as Euridice and Amor respectively.
Anyone else seen this?
