Hmm, but what if there are, say, four movements played attaca, either as the score dictates or as the performer(s) choose? Might the innocent ear simply be confounded by an introduction mentioning the number of movements?

Then all the more reason to tell us the structure of the piece, surely?

Might the innocent ear like to know that we're getting to hear the first-time bar and repeat in Stravinsky's Movements, for example?
