The elusive DHM catalogue.

As an early music lover, recordings from Deutsche Harmonia Mundi have, over the years, provided me with treasure from some of the leading performers in this genre. Yet since the label has been part of Sony Music, I find it well nigh impossible to track down a full catalogue of what is available.

For years I have been searching for a copy of a 1973 Bach Christmas Oratorio directed by Gerhard Schmidt-Gaden, then suddenly found a budget re-release of it dating from 2009, which I had no idea existed, in my local market today! Naturally I was delighted with my find, but does anyone know of a way in which I can get hold of a full listing of DHM releases?

Not a complete solution, but searching for "deutsche harmonia mundi" under "music" on amazon.co.uk might be useful.

It is rather strange that Sony do not make the catalogue available on the Internet themselves though, isn't it? Very poor marketing.
