Mahler: Des Knaben Wunderhorn (complete songs)
Dietrich Henschel (baritone), Boris Berezovsky (piano)
Here's one case where I may have to duplicate a download with the physical CD. 23 songs are included on this recording, but the download came without the booklet and I've only managed to source texts for 15 of them.
Much as I like Dietrich Henschel and good as he is at bringing out the drama in the songs, the star act here is Boris Berezovsky. The pair get off to a right rousing start with Revelge, at a quicker pace than I've ever heard it before, and it is the pianist who provides the bulk of the energy. He continues in this mould throughout the disc, which is what will entice me back for further hearings.

J.S. Bach:
6 Sonatas for harpsichord and violin, BWV 1014-19
Giuliano Carmagnola (baroque violin) & Andrea Marcon (harpsichord)
Recorded 2000 Sala del Conclave, Isola di San Giorgio, Venice
Sony Classical
The set of sonatas for harpsichord and violin BWV 1014-19 are probable the JS Bach works that I play most often. I especially admire this recording from Giuliano Carmagnola and Andrea Marcon.
