    Music at a....certain event

I may as well be the first to mention this, but does anyone know what music is being sung 'liturgically' at a certain imminent event?

I am spending the weekend away...as far away as possible....but am interested to know what part the Choir of St George's will be playing.

Some details about music here. At a quick glance I didn't spot the liturgical items.
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Would it be too much to expect he'll play:

        pom pom pa pa pa pa pa POM (to the notes G C G C G C E F#) ?

Embarrasingly, I think I have relatives planning on...erm.........[singing] there.
They are [a] excited [b] getting frightened by the pressure.
          What pressure?

              Lady Radnor's Suite, mov. 2/3/5 - Parry
Capriol Suite, mov. 2/3/5 - Warlock
              Greensleves - RVW
              Serenade, mov. 1 - Elgar

              entrance of bride
Eternal source of light divine - Handel (soprano + trumpet)

Hymn - Lord of all hopefulness (trad Irish)

Choir - If ye love me - Tallis

Gospel choir - Stand by me (Ben E King)

The Lord bless you and keep you - Rutter

Are you sure this isn't the R3 morning playlist............?
Not a criticism, but after the 'spring' we've had I rather like the idea of an Eternal summer of light divine

I would guess the Gospel Choir might sing Battle Hymn of the Republic but maybe not in the American Trilogy guise! Also there could be room for California Dreamin’ or California Girls, maybe LA Woman. Elin Manahan Thomas has a beautiful voice, as I found out from a chance Charity Shop purchase. Shame that the orchestral pieces go for the ‘bleeding chunks’ approach.

Better still, Cardew's The Great Learning, though not in that dreadful Polish workshop recording.

If you can find a way to contact Rich Duckworth (Trinity College Dublin School of Creative Arts), he might just make mp3s available to you of the 2015 Union Chapel performance, as he did to the performers. With the exception of Paragraph 2 (shortened by some 60% due to time and perceived endurance constraints) this was a complete performance.

If today's BAL is anything to go by they should hire Zefiro to play some Handel.

I think they need to sort their apostrophes from their quotation marks, and somebody should have checked Parry's dates. Tut tut.
