Slightly odd to have the same hymn twice in one service: the Introit and the Office Hymn are both translations/paraphrases of the same Greek text.

I listened on the Sounds App for the first time. An enjoyable CE.
I did find the balance a little harsh and uneven at times - choir or microphones or the treatment of sound for internet broadcast? I wasn't sure whether some of the more distant sounding phrases were intended but appreciate the effect in The Abbey may have been rather different.
It was my first hearing of the Roth which I thought was rather beautiful and handled well.

Good to have a live broadcast. Anyone know at which part of the Abbey the choir was situated?

Got to say that on a second hearing, I warmed rather more to this service / tx.
Echo arcarp's posting above: good to hear a live broadcast.

Was not present for this CE, but having been to St A a few times, I'd hazard that the choir was actually in the choir stalls - the space is capacious at the east end. Plenty of room. But would much welcome on-the-spot feedback.

I was very taken with the Roth anthem on first listening and even more so the second time around. I was also reminded of what a very splendid 'Amen' there is to the Wood canticles.
