    Webcasts on R3's Choral Evensong?

Instead of recycling previously broadcast CEs, I wonder if Radio 3 might consider using some of the excellent webcasts put out by some cathedrals and colleges? I dare say there would be some permissions or even contractual matters to sort out, but I would have thought that, as places of worship are 'locked down' at the moment, such places might be glad for some on-air evangelism. And if the sound-quality was a bit below the BBC's standards, surely that wouldn't matter if listeners knew the provenance.

Yes, I’ll drink to that. Trinity Cambridge is my go to site for quality of singing and sound. The sound system was set up by professional engineers who record for Hyperion, so possibly even better than the BBC?

Does anyone have a list of places which have webcasts of their evensongs?

Hereford [ had one from them only the other day], St J's Cantab, St T's NYC....
The prob at the mo is that many most choir schools are not in session, but other ensembles are.

They are not in session of course, but what I meant in my OP was that we could hear some of their past webcasts (of which I think they keep some available) on the CE slot. It would make a change from having a CE from the BBC archive which we have heard and discussed already.

The Listen-Again facility at Trinity College goes back several years. Many Sunday Evensongs are on YouTube if you wish to see as well as hear.
