I gather Harrisons have the reputation for getting as much as possible up-and-running in the factory before taking it all apart again and installing it. This was certainly the case when they built a brand new, very complete, two-manual instrument back in the 1970s. It would be interesting to hear from anyone with current knowledge of their work and practices.

I don't think Harrison's are unusual in doing that.
