    Revising my opinion of Jacqui Dankworth upwards. She is wearing particularly well, like her mother.. 6 monthe ago, she was performing fine at Aldburgh :

      That's a Cream number if I'm not mistaken. A straight jazz band covering a rock number makes me think of Chris Barber covering the MJQ's Golden Striker back in the early 60s.

              The interview with Femi Koleoso ought to go down in history. That's where it's at, as far as I'm concerned.

                Interestingly (to me at any rate) she chose two of my favourites: Shirley Horn and Norma Winstone. The latter's version of Tea For Two is ace, and "Here's To Life" is just a glorious LP.
