Prom 1 - HD Sound Severely Limited/Clipped

I have just also spotted another connection with Frances_iom. My wife is from IOM too - we got married there - spooky. Oh, and my eldest son is Francis (OK, spelt wrongly...)

I touched a nerve with my comment about DAB, eh? I am also fed up with BBC "excuses" reported on the Digital Spy web-site regarding compromises made (unnecessary in my view) on BBC HD FreeSat broadcasts. The BBC's audio and visual excellence has been dumbed down and out of existence! What a superficial world we live in now?

The severe limiting used for Proms 1 and 4 wasn't present on the Prom 5 broadcast (at least it wasn't present on the HD Sound).
