Oh Gosh, it would have to be you of course, I look lovely in scrubs and am a whizz with a cannula, but I know you are taken and happy. I fear I would be frightened by Caliban's ocelot and him being, you know, a bit of a flâner and although he professes a passion for locomotives I suspect he is more interested in patisserie than pistons. So, I don't know, maybe I'll wait another 4 years to propose to anyone?

I am afraid something serious has come between me and Caliban. I find out that .... He watches Top Gear. So, shall we put February 29th and this nonsense behind us and continue with the puzzles?
Off now, until later, kitchen and pasta ...

I've been riddling through possibilities without success. Roughyed = Oldham citizen. All I can think of is William Turner Walton. But that doesn't get me anywhere. Help!

Three-and-a-half hours: I think a prompt might be useful. Google (other search engines are available) "season season'd" and you'll find a quotation which will take you to a famous work. The setting of the words is of particular relevance to the T.

Off to bed in 1/4 hour or so; any requests for further clues should be made by then - or wait 'til the morning!

She sang those words in the first performance of RVW's Serenade to Music.

Lines from which were set for 18 of the best British singers by RVW in his Serenade to Music: the "seasons season'd" bit was specifically written for Dame Eva.

                                Three Vs:

A work containing songs of Solomon
                                A grimy performer
                                A product of a Classic FM Composer-in-Residence
