I don't claim any real knowledge, just smart googling!

Peter Grimes is a fisherman who feels that the people do not want to have
anything ... He sings and song about human fate: “Now the Great Bear and
      Pleiades”.

      Percussion Pleiades by Iannis Xenakis

ElgarThe Starlight Express Dance of the Pleiades
Subaru is the Japanese name for the Pleiades star cluster

        very smart googling, well done

according to wiki, that aria in Peter Grimes is mainly on the note E above middle C because it was Peter Pears's "best note"
I have the dancers in Elgar's Starlight Express being called Pleiades
and apparently Subaru's logo incorporates a representation of the Pleiades

        your turn I think

Thought the Peter was simply Grimes not Pears, but difficult to split the two.

          There'll be a short delay for Q.

I hadn't quite thought that one through before posting the question [doh]

Speaking for myself, I think my musical tastes are not as eclectic as yours, and I see "Meat Loaf" and, assuming it's beyond my ken, on a busy day I know I'm not going to be able rely on the little grey cells to tease out an answer, as I might (just.. sometimes...) with Mondonville or Mahler. I know it's going to be nothing but googling and wiki and on a busy work day there's often not the time / inclination for that... I've sat this one out as a result I'm afraid - and must now do some more work
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                  Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

In which case, I think a clue would be very helpful before you leave .....

Give me Shostakovich or Tom Adès and I'll give you a run for your money...

                              Meat Loaf
As this is "Meat Loaf" and not "meatloaf", I assume we're talking about the real dead ringer, rather than recipes.

                              Sam and Janet
                              Browne? or Cheers?

                              13 and 14
I was looking at Shostakovich, but neither the Symphonies nor the Quartets brought much in the Q line.

Oh! We're not in Spike Milligan terretory, are we???
