As to the puzzle, there is a Meat Loaf recipe that has Quaker Oats as an ingredient
I suspect it's one of those that can only be solved via google + wiki, not by any musical knowledge, which makes it frustrating

11 hours 50 minutes and all's quiet....is this some sort of record?

        Browne? or Cheers?

I was looking at Shostakovich, but neither the Symphonies nor the Quartets brought much in the Q line.

Oh! We're not in Spike Milligan terretory, are we???
Nowhere near with the other two, but pursue a dead ringer.

12 hours! Time for a serious attempt at an answer:
            'Sam and Janet Evening
            You May See a Stranger
            Chomping on a meat loaf
            In Room 1314'
            Am I close?

I suppose Quasimodo could be described as a dead ringer.

Beethoven's 13th and 14th piano sonatas are 'Quasi una fantasia'

                            Who they?

I get the LvB but what's the dead ringer reference (I get the Quasimodo connection...) but Meat Loaf? One of his songs?
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                            Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

There's a track on Meat Loaf's 'Bat Out Of Hell' album (?) called 'Dead Ringer For Love'. I didn't twig the connection until cloughie helpfully underlined dead ringer, which called to mind 'The bells! The bells!'. I then googled 'Sam and Janet' + 'Quasimodo'.
I'll set an 'R' tomorrow morning'
                                Goodnight all!
