    A perfect round, sir! (And I omitted Monteverdi to avoid making it too easy!)

    Yours is the V.

                  Verd(i/e):

                  The Teatro Lirico Giuseppe Verdi in Trieste was originally called the Teatro Nuova;
                  Verde Marina granite is a stone from India used to surround the fireplaces of the well-off;
                  The Camilla Villa is part of the Verdi Holiday resort in Italy.

                    No. Verdi is a link to the third in my list.

                          Oh! I was convinced that my first line was correct ("New Theatre"/"Nuovo Teatro") but was uncertain about the others. Is there a type of Camillia named after Verdi?

                                I think you might be on to it, cloughie. Violetta fits with a marina too.

                                Hmm, nice day for an ice cream. Good idea
