Crikey Flay - if you have 8 in-laws does that mean you have 4 wives?

Mr Russell is a "Willy" rather than an "...ie", if you (and he!) willy pardon the expression; it could all sound like one of Humph's Samantha introductions:

Samantha has been researching the background for the latest round of "Alphabet Associations". She found our elderly archivists were eager to help her investigate Willies and one of them showed her the way to Oldham.

        Ahem! Perhaps not.

        Moving on:

A Y to connect: Rachmaninoff, Busoni and Janacek.

I was waiting to see if anyone else wanted to offer something.

Now for a Z to link Sullivan, Berio, and a Russian Duke.

                    To clarify:
                    Rachmaninoff's Youth Symphony
Busoni's Piano "Suite" For the Youth
Janacek's Mladi Wind Quintet (which means ... )

The last few entries have amused and impressed one of the AKSHUAL French people here at the moment (whose presence is going to prevent much calibanesque activity here for the next couple of days)... impressed by Norfy and Anna (Annakins, you're just lacking a "ce" after your "mais".... But cloughie's "oblique" doesn't work: makes it sounds as if he walks at an angle, apparently. "Je ne suis pas tordu" would be more ...French: "I am not twisted"

Have nice games, folks, and good luck with the in-law horde Flay
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                          Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Oh, I just knew you'd pick me up for my schoolgirl error! Will your French visitors be watching Le Match on Sunday? They may like to know that concensus in town this morning was ...... England are going to win!!
