You mean Tea for Two is not a "songless cuppa?" - there's something even less musical?

Right. A slight variation this time: an A but also one other letter from further down the alphabet. Two words.

I want a poem, a song, and an opera:

                Mother's vexed!
                Pacta sunt servanda !!!

The poem is, with a right good and proper local accent.... (so is the song, but nicht the opera)

Is the A the first of the two words (as in Albert Herring - but obviously not, after your reply to cloughie)?

No and yes and not necessarily in there at all (I've got cloughieitis!)

You'll have to get the poem first.

Haven't had a chance to get my AA boots on yet, but thought I would just chip in with these glad tidings: Norfy and Anna please take particular note! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-17588179

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                              Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

                                Blimey Sue Johnstone in Corrie?

Remembering back to what she got up to as Sheila Grant in Brookside, the street could be in for a right old shake-up

Norris better watch his piggy bank, that's all I'm saying

Nice to have you back, Calibs - I hope you'll be ready with your referee's whistle, it's been like Mafeking in here while you were away
